Pastor Iustinian from Moldova has become archbishop, being the second person in the church hierarchy from Moldova
Pastor Iustinian of Tiraspoli and Dubossari has been episcopized by patriarchy Aleksei II of Moscow and the whole Russia, DECA-press Agency informs.
The Russian patriarchate has published a message on the site. In this message is said that during ten years of Iustian’s episcopacy, the number of the orthodox churches has trebled, besides a monastery and a theological seminary have opened. It is worth mentioning, that Iustinian is the second person in the church hierarchy after Metropolitan Vladimir of Chisinau and the whole Moldova.
