The law authorities stopped a tentative of distribution of 20 mobile phones covered with gold and diamonds on the territory of the capital, estimated at 20 thousand euro, which were illegally brought by the train conductors by Moscow – Chişinău route.

The Transport Direction officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs revealed, during some prevention raids, 20 units of Vertu mobiles, at the price of one thousand and 1350 euro each, which were introduced into the country by the train conductors of the passenger route Moscow – Chisinau.

The main suspect of the act is Dmitri Mladin of 39, from Bubuieci commune, Chişinău, who was not able to present any document on the legal origin of the phones, according to the orderly forces.

These are topnotch mobiles, as they are covered with gold and diamonds.

Currently, the police are settling the evidence for the objective documentation and under all the aspects of the introduction of these goods into the country, and for the conviction “for contraband in extremely large quantities”.  // BASA-Press
