Young Moldovans to apply for scholarships to study Japanese language and culture

The young Moldovans are welcome to apply for scholarships to study the Japanese language and culture within a program offered by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technologies of Japan.

The number of the scholarships depends on the number of the applicants willing to study in Japan, International Collaboration Direction Head within Ministry of Education and Youth (MET) of Moldova Ludmila Pavlov has said to BASA-press.

The applicants are to submit the application forms that can be found at the MET, the CV, a motivation letter, the authorized copy of the university record, including the academic situation, a recommendation letter and a 3X4 photo. The requests are to be submitted at the Embassy of Japan, headquartered in Kiev, Ukraine.

The applicants are to pass two stages, a written test in English and Japanese, and an interview. The written examination will take place at the National University of Linguistics from Kiev, located on Laboratornîi pereuloc, no. 5/17, on March 7, 2008. The interview, for those that will take the test, will take place on the same day, at the Embassy.  // BASA-Press
