Journalists from Chisinau will debate Natalia Morari\'s case
In time of the next sitting of the Press Club from Chisinau, journalists will have as a guest their clleague from the Russian publication „The New Times” (Moscow), Natalia Morari, who has been prohibited the work on the territory of the Russian Federation on an unlimited term, DECA-press communicates.
The Press Club sitting will be held on January 25th, beginning with 4 p.m., at the restaurant „Passepartout”. The guests of the sitting will be reprsentatives of the Russian Federation to Republic of Moldova, and of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. The journalist Natalia Morari, citizen of the Republic of Moldova, was expelled from the Russian Federation, despite the fact she had all her documents done. The jurnalist believes that she had been expelled because of political reasons, for she had written a series of critical articles referring to Kremlin. Nataliei Morari has been already transmitted a document from the Russian Federation to Chisinau, according to which the journalist was expelled from Rusia because she would compromise the security of the Russian state. The journalist's lawyers from Russia have decided to attack this decision at the law court. International media organizatios launched a series of protest notes about this incident. // DECA-Press Publication date: 23 January 2008 Source: Archive
