The USA will donate equipment of nearly 10 million USD to medical institutions from Moldova
The US Embassy will implement in Republic of Moldova a humanitarian assistance project for providing medical institutions with equipment of nearly 10 million USD, DECA-press communicates.
A declaration in this context was made on Monday by the American ambassador, Michael Kirby, in Chisinau, in time of a meeting with the prime-minister Vasile Tarlev. According to the ambassador, in the framework of the project, it is planned to provide several medical-sanitary institutions from the district of the country with equipment. The American part will offer support in installing the equipment and training the working staff regarding the new modern equipment. In time of the meeting, the prime-minister Vasile Tarlev encouraged the opportunity of extension of this project in the localities from the Transdniestrian region too, for improving the quality of medical services provided to the population. // DECA-Press Publication date: 22 January 2008 Source: Archive
