KL lass is champ at Sudoku contest

A sweet-natured music therapist was crowned the grand champion in the Ichi category (25 years and above) at the finals of the MSIG Samurai Sudoku showdown held at 1 Utama in Petaling Jaya last Sunday.

The prize package of Lim Kar Ge, 31, of Kuala Lumpur includes a holiday for two to Japan, RM5,000, plus travel insurance plan and MSIG personal accident plan.

Lim started Sudoku about two and half years ago and fell in love with it.

“I have always been sensitive to numbers, so it was not really hard for her,” she said.

The grand champion prize for Ni category (18 to 24 years old) went to Ow Chung Ye from Malacca. Ow took home RM2,000, a notebook PC and an MSIG student personal accident plan.

The San category (12 to 17 years old) grand champion is Charissa Cheng Wern Wei of Kuala Lumpur. Charissa received RM1,000, an iPOD Nano and an MSIG student personal accident plan.

All three grand champions were also given a Samurai sword each.

The competition was organised by MSIG Malaysia.
