A wiretapped conversation apparently led to three suspects in the disappearance of U.S. student Natalee Holloway being arrested and returned to Aruba.

Chief suspect Joran van der Sloot and brothers Deepak and Satish Kalpoe were arrested after police used wiretaps to record a conversation between the three men that may implicate them in Holloway's death, ABC's "Good Morning America" reported Monday.

The three men, who were reportedly the last to see the student alive, were arrested two years ago in connection with Holloway's disappearance but a judge released them after ruling there wasn't enough evidence against them to send the case to trial.

Former Aruban prosecutor Helen Lejuez, who is now working for Natalee Holloway's mother, said the men may have assumed they were no longer being wiretapped.  // Copyright 2007 by United Press International
