You need to be active with people today, even if you thought you had time to yourself. It's one of those days when it's just much more difficult for you to fly solo -- and you've got willing copilots!

Brothers can be held in Holloway case

A judge in Aruba ruled that two brothers can be held in custody in the case of Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway who disappeared two years ago.

That means Deepak Kalpoe, 24, and Satish Kalpoe, 21, will remain in jail at least eight days, CNN reported.

The brothers were arrested in Aruba Wednesday, the same day a third suspect, Joran van der Sloot, 20, was arrested in the Netherlands. The report said van der Sloot, the son of an Aruban judge, was flying with a police escort to Aruba Friday. All three say they are innocent.

Investigators are reanalyzing evidence but CNN said it was unclear if that new activity led to the arrests. The evidence included cell phone records and text messages.

The three suspects in the case had been arrested in 2005 but they were released for lack of evidence. They are now charged with "involvement in the voluntary manslaughter of Natalee Holloway or causing serious bodily harm to Natalee Holloway, resulting in her death," CNN said.

Along with 100 classmates, the Alabama teenager was on vacation in May 2005, celebrating graduation from Mountain Brook High School near Birmingham, Ala.

Van der Sloot and the Kalpoe brothers reportedly were the last people seen with Holloway as she left a nightclub in Oranjestad, Aruba.  // Copyright 2007 by United Press International
