Transnistrian police still controlling two Moldovan enterprises from Varnita

The Transnistrian police is still keeping under control the two Moldovan enterprises between Varnita village and Bender town, though the access of the personnel to them was allowed, Representative of Moldova Ion Leahu within the Unified Commission of Control (CUC) has said to BASA-press.

“The police from the auto-proclaimed Transnistrian republic abusively occupied the territory that belonged to a Moldovan commercial agent and started to select the personnel to be allowed to the enterprises. The authorities from Transnistria expressed their wish to take hold of another part of the territory controlled by Chisinau”, Leahu said.

The military observers lately arrived to the place of the incident and did not take enough measures, which demonstrates the activity of the military observers from the Security Zone is not sufficient, according to the quoted source.

The incident followed a conflict between two commercial agents that could not find a compromise regarding the administration of a piece of land. As a result, the Transnistrian agent called the police which took over the control of the two enterprises. “Currently, the situation is settled”, the quoted source said.

In the morning of November 9, the representatives of the Transnistrian police occupied two Moldovan enterprises from Varnita village and Bender town, making the guards of the institutions leave and installing their own guards. // BASA-Press
