German technical assistance bureau opens youth training center

The German Technical Assistance Bureau (GTZ) opened a youth training center in the Ganagura village of the Ialoveni raion on Wednesday.

According to GTZ Public Relations Officer Constantin Salagor, this center is attached to the Gangura secondary school. A hall was repaired in this school. This hall will be used for conducting seminars, training and workshops for youth. Their objective will be to teach young people and to give them a chance to have jobs in their native village and to stop migration abroad in this way.

According to Salagor, there is no computers and the Internet in the hall and the administrator of the center will organize seminars.

This is already the third center, opened as a result of the implementation of the GTZ project on the improvement of the social and economic situation of young women in the Ialoveni raion. The Bureau allocated about 100 thousand lei for equipping this center. Similar centers were opened in Danceni and Vasieni.

According to Salagor, there are about 1 thousand residents in the village of Gangura, but young people of three adjacent villages can enjoy services of this center.

The GTZ was set up in 1975 by the German Government, on whose behalf the bureau implements projects and programs in 131 states. The GTZ acts in Moldova since 1994. // Infotag
