The Museum of the district of Calarasi develops
The district Council of Calarasi allocated one hundred thousand lei for the renovation of the building offered last year to the Museum of the district of Calarasi, DECA-press informs.
According to the director Iacob Mandrescu, these funds will contribute to the repairing of half of a building, where a part of the collection of objects will be places at the beginning of the next year. Last week, the fund of the Museum was completed with an extreme amount of objects, donated by Mariana Skvortov, the daughter of the dead sculptor Dumitru Skvortov, originating from the town of Calarasi, who had died a few years ago in Chisinau. The donation contains personal objects of the sculptor, including some works made in cement, iron and wood.
