Woman charged with burning children
A Texas woman faces capital murder charges for allegedly setting a fire that killed one of her daughters and injured two others.
Court documents show that Alysha Green has a history of mental illness and had previously been accused of neglecting the girls, The Fort Worth Star-Telegram said Wednesday. Green is accused of putting the girls into a closet, dousing herself and her daughters with gasoline and then setting them on fire. Neighbors pulled the two older girls from the house as Green knocked on another neighbor's door to get help. Three-year-old Ariana died Tuesday after being taken off life support at a Dallas hospital. The other two children remain hospitalized in Dallas with severe burns, the newspaper said. // Copyright 2007 by United Press International Publication date: 20 September 2007 Source: Archive
