Your ego is feeling a little bent out of shape today because you haven't been getting the praise you deserve -- but if you're patient, you'll get what's coming to you. Just try to smile and relax.

Young woman fakes being Stanford student

A young California woman posed as a Stanford University student for months, living in dorms, eating in dining halls and pretending to worry about exams.

The woman, who graduated last year from Troy High School in Orange County, even maintained a Web page where she told her family and friends about the trials of freshman year, The San Jose Mercury News reported.

Exactly 68 days left until SUUUMER BREAK ... and my freshman experience is OVER!!! she said in a post in April.

But her college experience ended Monday when a resident adviser checked to see if the woman, identified by students as Azia Kim, was actually assigned to the dorm where she said she was living. She was quickly ordered off campus.

Some students told the Orange County Register that Kim may have been under intense family pressure to get into a prestigious college.

When I was going through the application process, I was pretty nervous, too, Alissa Haber, a freshman, said. I mean, not to the point where if I didn't get in I would have faked it, but I can understand that there's a lot of pressure from outside forces to get into a school like this.
