A solar-powered swimsuit debuts

A German lingerie producer has designed a solar-powered bathing suit that can recharge an iPod while the wearer is sunbathing.

Der Spiegel reported on the one-piece garment, which comes equipped with photovoltaic cells to capture energy from the sun, that can then be used to recharge an iPod or a phone.

Triumph, the lingerie company, assured its customers that the swimsuit provides a perfect way to recharge devices in an environmentally responsible -- and fun -- way.
