Single Critical Care Ambulance in Chisinau damaged in road accident
The only critical care ambulance for grown-ups, endowed with modern equipment belonging to the Chisinau Rescue Service collided this morning with an automobile at the crossroad of Stefan cel Mare Boulevard and Banulescu-Bodoni Street.
Coordinating doctor of the Emergency Service Anatol Proca says that no one of the medical crew on board the automobile was injured, but the ambulance was considerably damaged. The case is investigated by the Road Police, but it is already known that the ambulance had the siren on, as it was heading to a patient, Anatol Proca said. During the last 24 hours, the teams on the ambulances registered 886 appeals, including 154 cases of virosis, 33 cases of flu, 49 cases of trauma, 4 heart attacks and 7 ictuses. // Info-Prim Neo Publication date: 20 February 2007 Source: Archive
