Vasile Tarlev is not satisfied by the Justice Department activity
Moldova.ORG -- The Justice Department faces a series of problems which need to be taken care of for creating a more efficient legislative environment. According to the chairman Vasile Tarlev, the examination of the legislative and normative documents is done with numerous deficiencies.
Also, Tarlev says that a serious improvement in taking the decisions in court is missing. Only 53% of the legislative proposals were considered in 2006. Vasile Tarlev at the conference of the College of Justice Department declared that the ones who execute the decisions in court should be much more responsible. Also, at the conference was discussed some actions of improving the living conditions in prisons and of imposing a better discipline for prisoners. Tarlev also mentioned about making these improvements taking into consideration the European standards. The activity of the Governmental Agent to decrease the number of Moldovan accusing papers to ECHR needs great consideration too, Tarlev says. Publication date: 23 January 2007 Source: Archive
