Dorin Chirtoaca takes part in Jerusalem Conference of Mayors
The Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca is participating in the 26th International Conference of Mayor held in Jerusalem between September 14 and 18, the press service of the City Hall informs.
This year’s meeting is themed “Mayor’s Role in Improving Living Standards in Towns”. The program of the conference includes discussions and debates on problems faced by the towns. The Jerusalem Conference of Mayors is held yearly with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel and the United States Conference of Mayors. Converted swimming pools for new housing?
A Sydney architectural firm suggests converting some of the area's 360,000 swimming pools into mother-in-law apartments -- draining them first.Nobbs Radford Architects' proposal was the runner-up in the Architecture Australia Prize for Unbuilt Work, The Sydney Morning Herald reported.
