Chisinau schools will be ready to resume work on September 1
All the Chisinau schools and kindergartens will resume work on September 1. At Monday’s meeting of the Chisinau City Hall, the adviser to the head of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport Tatiana Botnaru said that the education institutions are 87% ready for the new school year.
Botnaru said that works are now carried out on the roofs and heat supply systems of several institutions, but assured that the works will be complete by September 1. Five specialized commissions will inspect the schools during the next days. The final inspections will be carried out August 29 and 30. A Sydney architectural firm suggests converting some of the area's 360,000 swimming pools into mother-in-law apartments -- draining them first.Nobbs Radford Architects' proposal was the runner-up in the Architecture Australia Prize for Unbuilt Work, The Sydney Morning Herald reported.
