Moldovans studying in Romania can file applications for visas at Romanian Consulate in Chisinau

The Moldovans scholars that study in Romania and one of the parents can submit the documents needed to obtain visas as from August 21.

In a statement, the Romanian Embassy in Chisinau says that the documents will be accepted on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 12.00 and 14.00, and on Tuesday and Thursday between 08.00 and 15.00.

In order to obtain a long-stay visa, the students must file two color photos 3x4 cm, passport that is valid three months after the visa expires (original and copy), completed D type visa form indicating the education institution where the student will study and the consent of both of the parents or of the guardian if the student is minor (original and copy legalized at the notary).

For a short-stay visa, one of the parents must submit two color photos 3x4 cm, passport that is valid three months after the visa expires (original and copy), filled in visa form (A, B, C type) indicating the education institution where the student will study, the statement confirming that the applicant has the necessary financial resources to stay in Romania, the student’s birth certificate (original and copy) and health insurance for Romania (original and copy).//REPORTER.MD
