A friend or coworker is pushing you over the edge today -- even though you know perfectly well that they don't mean anything serious. Just take a deep breath and let them make a fool of themselves.

About 6,000 lei collected in flood victims’ account

Approximately 6 million lei have been collected in the account opened to raise money for the victims of floods. During the past two days alone, the economic entities, private individuals, nongovernmental organizations and state institutions transferred more than 1.5 million lei to the account.

According to the Government’s press service, the Agency for Material Reserves, Public Acquisitions and Humanitarian Aid between August 1 and 7 collected and distributed more than 1,400 parcels with aid, weighing about 30 tonnes.

Bedlinen, blankets and food products have been distributed among 640 families. Most of the parcels have been shared in northern Moldova, in Briceni district, which was the most affected.

Twelve companies announced their intention to purchase 16 houses for the affected victims. There will be also built houses with two, three and four rooms that will be distributed according to the number of family members.

The houses have been designed by the State Design Institute “Ruralproiect”. Talks are now being carried out with the German house builder Kampa over the construction of dwellings for the families affected by floods.//REPORTER.MD
