Dog walking tot found after six hoursPolice in Hartlepool, England, said a 2-year-old boy who took a dog for a late night walk was found after a six-hour search. Thomas Winspear, 2, was staying at the home of his aunt, Gemma Keenan, 25, after a family barbecue when he decided to take his aunt's dog for a stroll at about 3 a.m. while the babysitting relative slept, The Daily Mail reported Thursday. Police were called by a neighbor who spotted the toddler at about 3:15 a.m., officers said. The boy was found about 600 yards from Keenan's home after a six-hour police search. He was taken to a hospital to ensure he was not injured and was later reunited with his mother, Laura Keenan, 23. Thomas' mother said she plans to add extra bolts to the gate at her house in case the boy attempts another late night walk at home.
