Nothing goes exactly as you'd expect it to today, for reasons that defy logic. Don't spend too much time worrying about it, though -- you need to just relax and deal with things as they arise.

Service 901 warns!

The number of fires and drownings during summer is increasing. Therefore, the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service recommends the population to observe the anti-fire rules and avoid swimming in prohibited places.

The Service calls on the population not to use open fire near combustible materials and auxiliary constructions because the high temperatures and wind favor the spread of fire in summer.

It also urges the people not to swim in unauthorized places, not to consume alcohol before swimming, not to stay for too long in the water in order to avoid overcooling and overtiredness, not to leave the children without supervision and to explain them the swimming rules.

As many as 1,005 fires have been reported in Moldova this year. They caused the death of 109 persons, including six children. The fires destroyed 160 constructions, 27 of which in Chisinau. The last 24 hours saw 8 fires.

In the first half of this year, there were reported 30 cases of drownings. Twenty-one persons, including eight minors, got drowned in June alone// Reporter.MD
