A citizen of Ialoveni town remained alive after he tried to commit suicide on Wednesday evening by throwing himself into a deep well from the district of Glodeni, DECA-press Agency transmits.

The 35-year-old man came to visit his relatives from the village of Balatina, district of Glodeni. In order to forget about the quarrel he had on the eve with his wife, the man drank alcohol. Being drunk, he undressed and threw himself in the well from the court of his relatives.

„Since the diameter of the well was only 40 cm, the man was blocked at 12 metres depth. His voice was hear by the owner of the house who called the police and the representatives of the town hall of the commune. When they realized they could not take the mane out, they announced the employees of the Unit of Firemen and Rescuers from Balti who managed to take the man out with the help of cords”, sources from the Department of Extreme Situations from Balti declared for DECA-press.

Since from the moment he fell in the well and till the moment he was rescued, four hours have passed, the man was unconscious and had the hand broken. The employees of the Emergency provided him the necessary medical help hospitalizing him in Glodeni.// DECA-Press
