National Theater Bucharest will perform in Chisinau
The National Theater Bucharest will put on “The Nightingale and the Rose” in Chisinau on May 28 as part of the eighth edition of the International Festival of Performing Arts “BITEI 2008”. The play was staged by the well-known director Carmen Lidia Vidu. It will start at 18.00.
The play based on Oscar Wilde’s story “The Nightingale and the Rose” will include electro-music shows, video projection, gesture dance and pop-up d?cor and will start such actors as Marius Manole, Carmen Ungureanu and Eduard Madan. The play was premiered at the National Theater in Bucharest, staged by Carmen Lidia Vidu. Earlier, she has cooperated with such underground theaters as ACT Theater and LUNI Theater from Green Hours in Bucharest.
