Children with hearing deficiencies on visit to Ministry of Defense
Fifty children hard of hearing from Cahul town are paying a visit to Chisinau at the initiative of the Ministry of Defense. The children study at the Cahul-based school for children with hearing deficiencies that has been under the patronage of the Ministry of Defense since 2001.
Minister of Defense Vitalie Vrabie told the reporters that the visit is organized on the occasion of the International Children’s Day marked on June 1. He said that during one day, the children will visit the National Army Museum, the National Museum and the Rulers’ Alley, the Memorial Complex “Eternitate” and the Zoological Garden. The children have been familiarized with the Ministry of Defense’s activity and presented with sweets and gifts. The school’s representative Maria Carp has told REPORTER.MD that such a visit was organized for the first time. She said that the children need such visits because they are limited in communication. The children with the best results at school have taken part in the visit.
