The USA to provide assistance to four medical centres from the Republic of Moldova
The US Government will provide technical assistance to medical centres from Moldova within the project “Operation Provide Hope”, DECA-press Agency informs.
According to the Ministry of Health Car, the humanitarian aid will include medical equipment and materials of consumption and it will be given to medical centres from Chisinau, Balti, Cahul and Tiraspol. The expenditures for the transport of humanitarian aid till the destination railway stations will be covered by the American authorities. The Moldovan part will cover customs expenditures. After that, a team of American experts will install the medical equipment and train the local medical staff how to use the delivered equipment. The delivery of the humanitarian aid will be performed in August-September 2008.
