The health of some citizens of Balti, threatened by a sector of thermal network
The citizens of a block of flats from Balti assert that their health is threatened by the glass wool which is spread in their court from a line of unused thermal networks for already eight years. These pipes belong to a municipal enterprise which stopped working, DECA-press transmits.
The glass wool which these pipes have been covered with has broken and it has spread in the court of the block of flats. It even enters the flats when it is windy outside. People breathe the air from the court and the glass particles enter their lungs, Anatol Chislari, one of the inhabitants of this block. Citizens have the proof which certifies the fact that they have many times addressed to the authorities asking them to demolish the pipes, but each time, they explained that the line of thermal network is a municipal property and they could demolish it only in case of existence of a decision of the Municipal Council of Balti. Required by DECA-press, adjunct-chief of the Department of Communal Household of Balti Veaceslav Reutchi, doesn\'t know the reasons becaue of which the daily agenda of Balti Municipal Council didn\'t contain the problem for the removal of these pipes from that territory. At the same time, Reutchi declared that this problem would be solved at the next sitting of the local elected councillors. A similar promise was made to the inhabitants of this block of flats last year too.// DECA-Press Publication date: 06 May 2008 Source: Archive
