Bruce Willis was left red-faced during his 51st birthday party when his alleged supermodel girlfriend snubbed his advances for a kiss

The 'Die Hard' star celebrated the special occasion, at New York's trendy G2 lounge on Saturday night (18.03.06), with rumoured lover Petra Nemcova and  star friends Joaquin Phoenix, Eva Mendes and Clive Owen, among others.

Later in the evening, Willis was seen moving in for a birthday smooch with Petra, but the catwalk beauty - who the actor reportedly stood up at the US premiere of 'V For Vendetta' last week - spurned his efforts.

An insider told America's New York Post newspaper: "She shied away from his kiss and then left alone. Petra is playing it safe."

The pair have been romantically linked since last December, after Willis  began pestering Petra for her phone number.

According to reports, Willis eventually bagged Petra's digits after donating $50,000 at a charity benefit evening at which the model was also in attendance to impress her.

Since that evening, the catwalk star claims the hunky actor has constantly been calling her and has arranged to meet up on a few occasions - but she insists the pair are not an item.

She apparently confessed: "He's been really sweet to me, but I wouldn't call it dating." // (c) BANG Media International.
