The baby, known as Lali, was born last month with two faces. Except for her ears, all of the infant's facial features are duplicated: two noses, two sets of lips and four eyes.

The baby was born in an Indian village, where she is being worshipped as the reincarnation of a Hindu goddess.

Hundreds of pilgrims have visited Lali, the 1-month-old baby, and her parents in the dusty village of Saini, 40km from New Delhi.

Her father, a poor farm worker, said his daughter is just "fine -- like any other child." She is her parents' first child.

A hospital official said the baby girl is able to drink milk from her two mouths and open and shut both sets of eyes at the same time.

Up to 100 people have been making daily visits to touch the baby's feet out of respect, offer money and receive blessings.// Reuters
