Gheorghe Duca has become member of the European Academy of Sciences and Art
The president of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova (ASM), Gheorghe Duca, has become member of the European Academy of Sciences and Art with the headquarters in Salzburg (Austria), DECA-press informs.
According to ASM, the title was awarded for the foundation of a new direction in science – ecological chemistry, as well as his reforms realized in the field of sciences in the Republic of Moldova, and for his contribution to the integration of the scientific community from the country in the European research area. At the age of 56 years old, Gheorghe Duca owns a lot of scientific and honour titles, including the title of „Om emerit”, doctor Honoris Causa of „Gh.
