First russian humanitarian consignment approaching Gagauzia
The first consignment of Russian humanitarian food is expected to reach the Gagauzia autonomous region’s administrative center, Comrat town, later on Friday, the Director of the Economy Department at the Gagauzia Executive Committee [government], Vitaly Kurkcu, told your Infotag correspondent this morning.
According to him, a heavy-duty Russian airplane is to land at the Chisinau airport in the afternoon, and already tonight this first consignment of the Russian humanitarian assistance – some 60 tons of rice and canned meat – should reach Comrat. The next consignment is expected here on March 12.
