The demand of the prosecutor in the case of the Russian journalist Ilia Zimin will be examined on March 26th
The demand of the prosecutor in the case of the Russian journalist Ilia Zimin murdered in 2006 by the citizen of Moldova Igor Velcev, will be examined on March 26th at the Court of Appeal from Balti, DECA-press transmits.
Velcev was acquitted by the Law Court from Ocnita at the end of the last year, but the prosecutor Valeriu Temirov doesn't agree with the verdict, that is why he issued a demand in this context. In a year and a half as much as the trial lasted, the prosecution presented a series of evidence regarding Velcev's guilt. The materials of Moscow inquisitors have been annexed, witnesses have been heard, including the ones from Moscow, and the law court didn't find the constitutive elements of the crime and Velcev was released in the Law Court. // DECA-Press Publication date: 05 March 2008 Source: Archive
