Village with a Name of Maiden (VIDEO)

Lalova village, surrounded by spectacular cliffs on one side and on the other side of the Dniester River, is a representative of this corner of paradise, called Moldova. The village name has the origin of the name of a maiden who lived in the region and whose beauty has won many hearts. The girl's splendor became legendary, capturing the heart of the Turkish Sultan, who wanted a Moldavian beauty in his harem. The girl was stolen and marine force in the boat that was required to carry her at the palace of the Sultan, but Lala (girl's name) hasn't imagined a life away from the country, between foreigners and jumped into the raging waters of the river Nistru, preferring to die.
Another legend of the origin of the name presents the locality as one of a great importance since the time of Geto-Dacians. It is said that the name of Lalova village has originated from the Greek word "lalov", which would means tattle, song, which denotes a large agglomeration of people in this region due to the presence of an important inland river port on the river Dniester.
The multiple historical remnants present on the lands of Lalova, stresses once again the grandeur of its importance since the ancient times.
Lalova locality, which consists of three villages, Stodolna, Nistreni and Lalova, is interesting for those in search of adventure. In the village There are little-explored caves that conceal mysteries, which need to be discovered. Those interested can venture on a journey underground at the height, but armed with the necessary equipment for specific ecosystem explorations, and those less interested in miracles of underground can enjoy phenomenal views of the open to traveler on the Valley of the Dniester River, at the mouth of the cave.
The village looked up creates the impression of a village which leads living carefree under clear sky and warmed by the rays of the Sun.
