Valeriu Zubco - Moldova's new Prosecutor General
Valeriu Zubco was elected with 53 pro votes of the Alliance for European Integration in the Parliament sitting on October 7 as Prosecutor General.
The PCRM doubted the Valeriu Zubco’s professionalism for being nominated as Prosecutor General.
The PCRM MP, Victor Stepaniuc, said he hopes that Valeriu Zubco will be Prosecutor General for Moldova not for the Speaker and President.
Valeriu Zubco was born on March 12 martie, 1965. Currently, Zubco is the member of the Scientific Council of the Supreme Court of Justice, member of the Scientific Council of the Constitutional Court and member of the Romanian Institute for Administrative Sciences “Paul Negulescu”.
The former Prosecutor General Valeriu Gurbulea was dismissed based on his request on October 2.
