Ukrainian universities start admitting Moldovans

The Moldovan young people that want to continue their studies in one of the higher education establishments of Ukraine can file applications to the State University of Moldova, first block, between July 14 and 25.

According to the Ministry of Education and Youth of Moldova, Ukraine offers the Moldovans 105 places to universities for the 2008-2009 academic year. Out of these, 100 places are provided for university studies (90 for Moldovans of Ukrainian origin and 10 for other ethnicities) and five for doctoral studies.

The candidates that studied the Ukrainian language and literature, but did not take graduation exams in them, and the candidates that did not study the Ukrainian language and literature will take exams in the Ukrainian language and literature at the State University of Moldova on July 26, according to the test worked out by the Ukrainian Education Ministry.

The applicants must submit an application, the baccalaureate diploma or secondary school certificate, the birth certificate or its copy legalized by the notary, the passport, medical certificate, six photos 3x4 and the results of the test for AIDS.
