UFO Sighting over Lafayette, Colorado Frightens Residents (VIDEO)

Flying saucer

It seems that there are sightings of a UFO almost daily. A few weeks ago one was spotted over Brooklyn, New York. Apparently the ship traveled west to Lafayette, Colorado last week where it was caught on tape.
Leroy van der Vegt and his son Nick saw a triangular formation of red lights hovering above their home and immediately started to record it.

"It was completely quiet. No noise at all," van der Vegt said.
According to ABC News, father and son have no idea what they were watching but the two said that everything was quiet as the red lights danced over them without blinking. They’re positive that they weren’t witnessing a satellite, helicopter, or an airplane.

After flying above Lafayette for a while the red light took off and headed northeast.
Lester Valdez also viewed the lights.

"I have never witnessed anything like that. It was exactly something like that where you see an object and they all got into a pattern and they stood in a pattern, and they all moved in a direction and then they pretty much dropped and that was it," Valdez said.

Quite a few of the residents in Lafayette saw the lights and speculated that it was a UFO. But not everyone believed that they were from an alien spaceship piloted by little green men.

Katie and Kevin Caron say there has to be a reasonable explanation for the lights.
"There's a lot of things you can't explain but the idea of it being an alien spacecraft is pretty wacky," Kevin Caron said.
ABC News called the Federal Aviation Administration but they declined to talk.

When the FAA refuses to talk about an incident like this it makes one wonder if the government is aware of a UFO or two flying around watching our planet. Maybe they just aren’t telling us to avoid panic in the streets.

But with so many videos from Brooklyn, New York all the way to the west maybe there is some truth that we are not alone.

Take a look at the video that the van der Vegt’s recorded and decide for yourself.
