Tiglau – the Carpathian Mountain’s son on the Moldavian Territory (VIDEO)

By Diana Ungureanu/ Chisinau / Moldova.ORG/ -- The beauty and the splendor of Carpathian Mountains can be also admired on the territory of Moldova, in the North-West side of the country, in the village Briceni, from Corjeuti.

The rocky ends of the Carpathians are admired and appreciated more, because our lands have no mountain ranges. The dissimilar rocks from Corjeuti, which move bitter to the sky, guard the village and its inhabitants for centuries.
The most the most popular and at the same time the highest peak is called Tiglau and it dominates majestically over the lands like a true king that is never defeated.

Lopatnic River, which meanders like being embarrassed by the greatness of the rock, has a length of 57 km. It gathers the waters from an area of 257 km2. It is an internal river of Moldova, which flows a few kilometers from the border with the region Cernauti and washes the banks of the localities Grimancauti, Briceni, Tabani, Old Caracuseni, Corjeuti, and on the west side the river Lopatnic flows into the Prut.

Corjeuti village from the bank of this gorgeous river is one that had formed on an old settlement of hardworking and industrious people, who are proud of that their village is situated at the foot of huge rocks, on the bank of river Lopatnic.

The steep banks with cliffs cut almost vertical, the massive blocks of limestone with a bizarre configuration, the black mouths of the caverns and caves that stay opened from different heights leaves you overwhelmed and impressed by the wildness of the place and greatness of nature.

Sitting perched up on the steep edge of the rock Tiglau, you can delight with one of the most beautiful views of our country: Lopatnic River bringing slowly its waters in the channel, the village with its scattered houses in the valley and the splendid green grass that crowns the harmonious work created by nature and man.

Although the rock is located at a considerable distance of about 225 km from the capital, they no longer have importance when you finally get to these phenomenal views. Have an adventure going to Corjeuti in the weekend.
