The sixth edition of Diaspora Congress to take place in Chisinau
On 11-13th October Chisinau will host the sixth Congress of Moldovan Diaspora. The event is organized by the Government of Moldova with the support of International Organization for Migration (IOM).
This year’s edition will gather over 100 delegates – leaders of associations and Diaspora communities from more than 30 countries.
Unlike previous editions, the representatives from Canada, Italy, Great Britain, USA, France, Norway and Portugal actively involved in the organization of this year’s Congress, announces Ala Mindicanu, the President of Moldovan community from Quebec.
“We all hope that the topics to be addressed this year will be of interest not only for us, but also for the whole Moldovan society. We are convinced that after the Congress 2012, Diaspora will become more strengthened and more focused on achieving a major goal for Moldovan citizens, wherever they are: the speedy integration of the Republic of Moldova into the European family”, said the representative of Diaspora from France, Dorin Dusciac.
Diaspora Congress will take place at the Republican Palace in Chisinau.
