The Roof of Romania – Moldoveanu Peak (VIDEO)
By Diana Ungureanu / Chisinau / Moldova.ORG/ -- Today I invite you to venture on the highest peak of Romania - Moldoveanu Peak, in the massif Fagaras. If you want to feel over the world, you need to come here and see how it is, an indescribable feeling.
The mountain is beautiful in any season, especially in autumn, when it is gold and multicolored. But if you want to visit it now, you have to know that you might find Mount White, i.e. already snowed, so the equipment must be properly.
Mount Moldoveanu is escalated in winter, too, but with some more caution. Its altitude overtops 2.500 metres. Because of the mountain peaks around it, a majority of over 2,400 metres, Moldoveanu Peak is visible only on the crest of Făgăraş and on an overview, unlike many of the major peaks of the Fagaras massif, which are visible from the Fagaras Depression.
Climbing on Moldoveanu Peak is one on as hard as spectacularly; landscapes that surround you on the path are precious memories that will implant deep into consciousness. Even if sometimes the body says "I can no longer, that's over", your heart wonders, your eyes and senses burn forward to see new landscapes and your tired feet have only to do another effort, carried by the soul hungry of beauty.
Once arrived on the Moldoveanu Peak, you will forget all the accumulated fatigue on the route. The sensation that you are in the highest point in Romania is unique, and the splendor of surrounding area will fully reward your efforts.
Arriving at highest point of Romania, do not forget to make the picture next to the pointer that marks your performance, with which you can truly be proud of.
There is a reason for the tip is not visible in the Fagaras depression, because everywhere do you look around there are gorgeous high mountains.
Take a break on top, sit down and let the mountains to load the "batteries" of your body with the most pleasant sensations, which are transformed into an energy that would be able to knock down the mountains.
Forget all the troubles, you are above all; ask the mountain to give you a part of eternity, and time will stop for some moments.
