The Romanian language to be taught at University of Oxford
The Romanian language will be taught at University of Oxford in the framework of the first Lectureship in the UK funded by the Romanian Government. Over 20 students have already signed up for the course, writes Adevarul with reference to the Romanian Embassy in London.
The first Lectureship in Romanian language in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland funded by the Romanian Government was opened on Monday at the Faculty of Linguistics, Philology and Phonetics. The Lectureship is functioning according to the Protocol of Cooperation signed between the Romanian Language Institute, Bucharest and the University of Oxford.
According to the web page of British university, the perspective of learning the Romanian language met with success among students. Interested young people will have the possibility to take an exam within the module of modern languages or linguistics.
