The Most Sought European Capitals for Shopping

To ease your work of looking for suitable destination for shopping, I can inform you that from 33 European cities, London is the most suitable for shopping, according to the latest edition of the ranking "Globe Shopper City Index".
Designed by The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), at the request of Global Blue, "Globe Shopper City Index" measures the attractiveness of 33 European cities for shopping enthusiasts, based on 38 criteria: number of stores, brands, the accessibility of places, prices, discounts, offers' diversity of shopping, quality of service (program stores, languages spoken), but also offers of hotels, restaurants, cultural events, transport or climate.
According to this ranking, London is ahead of Barcelona, Madrid, Paris and Rome. Although it is the world's first tourist destination, Paris did not rank better than fourth place because of expensive hotels. Berlin is ranked at the 6th place, outpacing the Lisbon (7th), Amsterdam (8th), Prague (9th) and Budapest (10th).
If none of the above not capitals inspires, perhaps you will be attracted by Bucharest, which is placed on the 24th in the rankings, plus more it is also very close to Chisinau.
The Hungarian capital is situated before such capitals as Milan, Vienna and Moscow. After Bucharest, there ranks such cities as Kiev (26th), Warsaw (28th), St. Petersburg (29th), and Belgrade (31st). The last of this ranking are Oslo (32nd) and Geneva (33rd). "The majority of cities of Western Europe provides the largest variety of shops and cultural activities, but are not always the most affordable choice in terms of prices," said Harald Langer, head of project at EIU.
