The first distribution center of agricultural machinery opened in Stauceni

The first distribution center of agricultural machinery John Deere was opened in Stauceni. The Center with an area of 0,7 ha is intended for Moldovan farmers, who will benefit from qualitative services and most modern agricultural machinery, announces the Press Service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry. Over 1,5 million Euro were invested for the opening of the Center, which is unique in Moldova according to the performance indicator of agricultural technique.

The Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry, Vasile Bumacov and the Prime Minister, Vlad Filat participated at the opening of the Center. The Prime Minister appreciated the activity of the John Deere Center in Moldova and mentioned that the opening of the complex is an important event for our country.

“We are witnessing the opening of a Center which, in addition to trading agricultural machinery, will provide consultancy and assistance in agriculture. We had I mind to have in Moldova a modern agriculture, which means advanced technology, enough intelligence invested in agricultural processes and, as result, to have enough capacity to provide qualitative products both on domestic market and for export”, added Vlad Filat.

The Minister Vasile Bumacov specified that the opening of the Center complements the agricultural machinery market, which certainly will influence the modernization process of agriculture in our country.

To mention that there are different types of machinery at the Center, which include tractors, combines, agricultural machinery. Of great importance are tractors and combines W550, with the capacity of 285 and, respectively 300 horse powers. The machinery was produced in Germany under the American brand name John Deere.
