The drivers of minibuses ask higher taxes from the inhabitants of the villages of Novaci, district of Calarasi

Despite the fact they cost two lei and they haven’t been officially raised, beginning with the second half of October, the drivers of minibuses who pass by the village of Novaci, Calarasi, started to ask for three lei per travel to the district centre from the passengers of this village, DECA-press Agency communicates.
Several persons from this village, who usually go to work and back by these minibuses, tried to protest, but everything was in vain. If they refuse to pay the tax of three lei, they risk remaining in the street.
The president of the district of Calarasi, Ilie Rau, who is also the chief of the District Commission for the transport of passengers and security of the road traffic on this territory, says that the authorities hadn’t announced him about this growth. Thus, this is a kind of abuse from the part of the drivers of AUTO -28 base from Calarasi. According to our calculations, the tax for one trip from Novaci to Calarasi doesn’t exceed even two lei, Rau says.
The specialized district commission is going to examine this case immediately after holidays. // DECA-Press
