The district of Ungheni is leader according to the number of fires
Last year, there was a record number of fires held in the district of Ungheni. Thus, the district under discussion has become a leader in this context, DECA-press Agency transmits.
The fires produced in the reported period killed 12 people.
Asked how he can explain the high number of fires held in 2007, Iurie Ciolan, chief of the Department of extreme situations, mentioned that citizens are guilty for the fires. 82 percent of the total number of fires was held in houses.
It is worth mentioning that, according to statistics, 14 fires were caused deliberately. There were also eight cases of fires in means of transport. Another reason of fires is the ignorance of citizens while smoking. // DECA-Press
