Termocom wins case against Chisinau City Hall

The Economic District Court of Moldova decided in favor of Termocom SA in a case against the Chisinau City Hall and ordered that the latter pay the difference in the heating tariff of 147 million lei accumulated until November 1, 2008.

According to Termocom, the City Hall did not comply with the decision of the Chisinau Municipal Council to cover the difference in the approved tariff of 540.82 lei and the tariff of 233 lei fixed for the population from the municipal budget.

Termocom said that the consistency of the heat supply during the 2008-2009 heating season would depend on the way in which the City Hall pays its debts. REPORTER.MD
