Ten more swine flu cases confirmed in Moldova
Ten more cases of the influenza A (H1N1) virus have been confirmed in Moldova for the last two days. Thus, the total number of persons, infected with the swine flu, reached 28 people, one of them was a man aged 50 died.
According to the Ministry of Health Protection, seven cases were registered with patients, who returned recently from abroad. In one case a patient was infected, as a result of his contact with an infected person, as for the remaining two cases the infection source has not been reveled for the time being. Three out of the last ten infected persons are children.
The infected people were hospitalized into the Tom Ciorba Infection Hospital and into raion hospitals in Orhei and Soroca, where all the necessary medical aid is rendered to them by means of anti-virus preparations.
Persons, who were in contact with the patients, are under control of doctors.
