Small entrepreneurs from Balti send to the authorities requirements of social character
For one week, the inhabitants of Balti will not go shopping at the trade markets from the locality. The small entrepreneurs decided to stop their activity, thus protesting against the Law of brevets, sending some more requirements of social character at the level of locality, DECA-press transmits.
Except the problem of imposing a moratorium on the Law of brevets until 2009, entrepreneurs protest against the growth of prices to conveniences. At the same time, the requirements of protestors are: the limitation of activity of electronic casinos and ga player machines in Balti town.
One of the leaders of protestors, Natalia Bogatenkova, said for DECA-press that the strike, which started today, anticipates the actions of protest which will be organized in Balti, in the period of January 24th-27th 2008.
At the beginning, the small entrepreneurs asked the authorities to permit some actions of protest for one week, but the Balti Mayoralty authorized the meeting only for a period of four days.
The brevet owners from Balti protested at the end of the last year, concluding a declaration addressed to the Parliament, in which they asked to impose the moratorium on the Law of brevets until 2009.
At the end of the last year, there were 2,3 thousand small entrepreneurs working in Balti on the basis of brevets. // DECA-Press
