Russian resort hit by severe stomach bug

Scores of people have been infected with an intestinal disorder in a Russian resort in the Northern Caucasus, Itar-Tass reported Friday.

The outbreak in Kislovodsk was first reported Wednesday when 10 students at St. Nicholas Seminary complained of symptoms that included stomach aches and vomiting. The chief epidemiologist said that by Friday 107 people had sought treatment and 88 admitted to the hospital.

She said that the infection had not yet been identified.
