Rerun university admissions contest will be held this week
The higher educational establishments that did not enroll the necessary number of students will hold a rerun admission contest between August 5 and 12. The universities will enroll students mainly at the faculties with fewer candidates than planned.
According to the Ministry of Education and Youth, the largest number of vacant places were reported at the faculties of exact sciences, humanities, natural sciences and agricultural sciences.
The first admission round closed on July 29. About 28,000 candidates applied for the 25,360 places available in the 170 faculties, including 21,895 – in fulltime education and 6,186 – in part-time education.//REPORTER.MD
