Promoting the Tourism Potential of Moldova in Japan
By Diana Ungureanu/ Chisinau / Moldova.ORG/ -- Tourism Agency of the Republic of Moldova launches the project of promoting the tourism potential on the Japanese market. Thus, for Japanese tourists that visit the country are offered a an informational tour about the touristic potential of Moldova.
This informational tour is a part of the project of attraction of Japanese tourists within GUAM .
GUAM is an Organisation for Democracy and Economic Development (ODED) , which was established on 23 May 2006, at the first Summit of Heads of State in Kiev.
Since 1996, october 10, there was founded a GUAM Consultative Forum, signed in Strasbourg, by presidents of Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova, hence the name GUAM. In the tourist route (27-29 July, 2011) proposed to Japanese tourists, they will visit several touristic attractions such as monastery Curchi (Orhei rayon), natural reservation and complex „Old Orhei”, boarding houses from the village Butuceni (Orhei rayon), winery „Chateau Vartey” (Orhei rayon), cellars of „Cricova” (town Cricova), winery „Purcari” (Purcari village), winery „Milestii Mici” (village Small Milesti, Ialoveni rayon) etc.
This project has the aim to strengthen the public-private partnership between central authorities of the Member States of GUAM. The successful conduct of this project , we will be able to speak about the promoting of the tourism in Moldova on the international tourism market and about the increasing of foreign tourists visits of our country.
Moldova has a high touristic potential, with an authentic, popular specific, so desired and requested by foreign tourists, it requires promotion and investment for the development of infrastructure.
We hope that the tourism in Moldova will progress to new dimensions in its development.
